one other point that needs making is that when all that media criticism of Clinton was going around - and not just for Monica - , plenty of it was warranted - yet, Kevin, you dismiss nearly all criticism of Bush regardless of its level of validity. doesn't seem realistic to me. no matter your preferences for 'leaders', they're human beings, and therefore flawed and prone to stretching truths and oh you bet consciously speaking with forked tongues.

i very much agree that if you want to support Bush because of the abortion issue, then great, do that. but trying to defend all the rest of the man's act doesn't become you.
