and a very strange one indeed. A would say you are very risky listerner  Brad!  Patty's new one isn't as strong as her previous efforts, but there are a few tracks that make it worth the money. I have been to a few record shops this week as well. Here's a few of my recent purchases:

- Jim White,"Drill A Hole..." Exc. first listen. Joe Henry produced this third album from Mr. White and I'm feeling it far beter then his prior releases.

-Gus Black, "Uncivilized Love" Far to over-produced. Paste Magazine recomended this. Not a good first listen.

-The Frames, "Fitzcarraldo" Finaly found a used copy of this CD. Brad, you really need to see these guys live. Ireland's best live band, and may I dare say, best band in Ireland at the moment.

-Clive Gregson-"Happy Hour" Very nice record. Smooth folk rock that sounds allot like a Ricard Thompson record.

-Diana Krall-"The Girl In ..." Luvy pop record from Mrs.Elvis Costello. Her most comercial, pop sounding one yet.

-The Sleepy Jackson-"Let Your Love Be Love" What great little EP. Well worth the two bucks I paid for it. If you like The Flamming Lips, you'll love this EP

-The Players-"Clear The Decks" Glad I only paid five bucks for this one. Paul Weller's band mates release side project. For fans only.

-Franz Ferdinand-"All Three of their CD singles" Had to get the B-sides from my favorite Guitar Pop record of the year. Single #4 comes out very soon.
