Look out Radiohead, the ship has landed. We have three UFO fans on the Dbinfosource message board. World dominance isn’t to far from us now.

Well there are millions of Britney Spears fans in this world, I guess that makes her a artist of high prestige or merit. .

Don't get me wrong, I think Chris, Kevin G, or hell anyone for that matter is allowed to be a fan of the band. But I am not alone in saying this: I can’t understand how someone could be a fan of such a brilliant artist, Mr. Baerwald and like such trite music. I’ll admit, I listen to crap as well, but I’m not going to express its brilliance to other DB fans. I choose not to listen to UFO, because I don't think it has any significant artistic expression. Nor do they speak to me with their music. I also believe that the themes, messages and stories they write in their music have been far better expressed and written by artists before and after them.

Sorry to have upset some of you with what may seem to be strong or even weak arguments against one who should listen, buy or even discover the band UFO, and it’s music. I just don’t get it, I guess? Good musicians don’t make good art or for that matter, good rock n’ roll.

Sorry I do not have any live DVD’s to recommend. Most of the DVD’s I own are suited for the serious fan or collector of that particular artist’s music. In other words, I think you have to be a fan of Neil Finn, The Jam, Paul Weller, Caetano Veloso, Manu Chao, James, Midnigth Oil, Belle & Sebastian, Peter Gabriel, Lone Justice, Saw Doctors, Coldplay, Travis, Radiohead, U2, Beatles, Dead Can Dance and James to purchase one of their live DVD's.

Cheers,

Kevin
