Please don't let this by any means upgrade your opinion of me Mick (I wouldn't want to spoil a perfect relationship) but I've been caught dabbling in Rainbow (Rising, On Stage & LLR&R), Queen (you have to hate Rock to hate them) and another late lamented personal favorite that was spawned somewhat in your neck of the woods only to be relocated to sunny Californeyeah to be evidently marketed as a hip version of the Bay City Rollers in the mid to late 70's-The Babys.

They played it pretty much straight ahead which included their signature sound of John Waite and an underrated guitarist and drummer.  The tunes still hold up nicely being even though they have been done for almost 25 years, which makes me feel real old which I know for sure that you can relate to.

I hope you can't stomach our potential musical similiarities but alas, I am not totally without a heart.  I also enjoy Filter, The Jon SpencerBlues Explosion, PJ Harvey and another sadly defunct band-firehose.
