I'm going to stick with generalities, cause I don't have the time or energy to write specifics, and my opinions are based on my beliefs.

I feel the Dems and Repubs are much closer then most of us think . . . if you following policymaking and the creation of perks for office-holders you see this complex game of backscratching going on. It really bothers me to be forced to vote for "the lesser of two evils" by national clubs (parties) making money hand over fist and all the while our policymakers sit in secret meetings (dems and repubs together at times) with those who have the money and power to gain access, wherein the system is gamed to make it easier for those who have money and power to make more money and gain more power.

I refuse to accept the notion that voting for a third party is throwing away my vote or splitting the vote for one of the two corporate candidates. If more people voted for third party we truly would affect change.

Now what irritates me about both candidates, their minions, and politicians in general, is their pathological need to avoid the truth and spin out and out lies about their accomplishments and their opponents.

The crap the Bush campaign is spreading about Kerry's record is at least distortion and at worst flat out lies. Some of the stuff they are accusing Kerry of (advocating cutting of military spending) can be equally applied to Cheney . . .

This whole B.S. about Kerry's medals . . . hearing him backpedal and that crap about "well we called'em all medals" is ludicrous, just say "Hey I was an angry young man, I was trying to petition my government, trying to affect change and wanted to create a stir, I'm older now, I have a deeper appreciation for what those medals symbolize and am honored to have been awarded them, my feelings about what my government was doing back then has not changed, just my perspective", instead we get bull . . . the same bull Bush spread during that press conference . . . and the same bull Clinton spread during the Monica fiasco . . .

well I'm rambling a bit, but I hope you get my point . . .
