Clinton and Gore did not appear together they did so individually. You realize that Bush and Cheney appearing together makes for some obvious eyebrow raising...

Are they afraid their stories won't match?

Are they afraid Bush will do one of his Rainman routines and start babbling about...well...whatever pops into his empty head?

Doesn't this confirm that Cheney is actually the President of the United States and Bush is his puppet?

Ok, those three questions may appear quite unfair but you know they have opened the door to them being asked. I don't really care about them appearing together...personally I think it makes them look foolish but that's their choice and the commission agreed so, that's that.

Secondly, did you know that since 9/11 it has been Bush and Cheney's policy not to make any high profile appearances together if at all possible? For reasons of National Security...that way if one is killed the other can remain in charge...since we have a terror issue. Yet, they will violate that policy and appear together on Thursday in a pretty high profile setting. Odd no?

Did you know that much of the time almost no one is allowed to know where Cheney is? That he has a secret location called "The Cave"...sounds silly I know but that's true. So if it's that important to remain hidden and separated...why together for something as simple as this testimony? Which won't even be under oath.

Basically, it's a blunder on their part but I suppose Bush can't be trusted on his own. I've come to believe the guy is a total flake...not "evil"...just a bungler.

Anyway, did you read the whole article because it was good. It didn't draw conclusions it only asked some questions and did not try to speculate about the answers. What did you think of the article Kevin? That's my big question.
