TV's and Restrictive Policies

Have you ever noticed that there's never anything good on that TV when you're in the hospital? I wonder if there's a QUALITY filter...kinda like the V-Chip. Personally, with current programming, I think the Quality Filter is the SCREEN...but that's just me.
Reading in bed sucks. When my father was in the hospital a lot last spring and summer, he had to lie flat on his back, which rendered reading a book very difficult. So I built this plexiglass table with adjustible legs that I could set over him with a book on the glass so he could read. It even had a little elastic strap to hold the book flat. Well...they wouldn't let me put it in his room. they said it would get in the way in case of an emergency, which makes sense. Still would have been nice though. He uses it in his garage now to set stuff on. It makes a nice shelf.
