Just bought a Dean EVO.  Very simple guitar...stained mahogany body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard with a grain which lends the illusion that the whole thing was carved from one peice.  Very pretty and reasonably priced.

I sat next to Dean Zellinsky on an airplane out of dallas in the 80's and he was a very nice man...took time to talk to me about guitars and design when he could have just said, "Shut up kid and eat your peanuts."
