Dale, its difficult to understand context or intention in e-mail posts, hell, I'm having a hard enough time getting my point across, so let me use an example,
(and I don't believe you are a bigot or homophobe)
I was speaking to a very nice kindergarten teacher about her son's bad experience in little league baseball, apparently he had a bad coach and she was angry, she said her son's fat, mexican coach was a real jerk. We had a pretty intense conversation about her feeling it wass appropriate or necessary to use mexican to describe the coach. Your post, to me, seemed kinda of like that, and I guess I tend to be sensitive to focusing on a person's race, sexual orientation, religion, etc. I tend to annoy friends 'cause I point out comments I feel are inappropriate, even if relatively innocuous . . .
I guess I feel if someone's an ass, pervert, rude, lazy, outrageous, etc. its separate from the former . . .
my intent was and is not to criticize you, but to express my opinion, which, as been proven many times before, could be completely wrong . . . except being bitter about all you obnoxious, happily married types, I'm firing off a stern letter to my congressperson post-haste, something must be done about all this happiness crap!
