Yes I did overreact. I was trying to keep my tone from being confrontational or personal. But since I did call you out by name, I blew that.  I don't think I hurled any personal insults, but rather tried to question the tone. But it was more about MY interpretation of your post. Sometimes I wish we (the general "we") were face to face when these comments are made. Someone’s inflection or body language can make all the difference in the interpretation of the message.

When is that dang edit button coming?  Not soon enough to save me. I truly was wishing for it last night. For what its worth, as I was typing and then rereading my response, my area experienced some power fluctuations so I hurried up and hit "post" so as not to lose my response. Poor excuse maybe but true.

Yes I am tired most of the time, and yes now that I have a child, my usual live for today attitude is getting a real adjustment. To be fair you’re "you guys make me laugh" post really didn't have anything else to hang on, so I ran with my gut feelings about the situation, but not personally at you. In my approach to living, I will make time to try to right a wrong or share an opinion in the hope of getting something of value from the exchange. It wasn’t meant to be personal. If it was I apologize.  Thanks for cutting me a bit of slack.

And I also realize that when I get myself into lather, you can almost hear the patriotic music swelling underneath.
