sorta, it's an OLP, which is a licensed Ernie Ball company. They make the gtrs from Wolfgang specs at lower prices. They make a Sting Ray bass, too. I got that ax for $100 bucks cuz it had a blem! As far as the tone, that little Orange amp has TWO gain knobs, which interact with each other and you can get so many different sounds that I haven't quite nailed it yet (the tone). What I have going now has too much hiss when I'm not playing at all, but the distortion is amazing. I'll tell you this, an echo effect is pretty much mandatory. That's what makes the Boomtown solo really "soar" and you get that heaven-feeling, especially the 3rd solo that ends the song.  For that I'm just using a cheap Alesis Ineko but it works good. Basically my problem is I love playing the solo so much, I rarely stop to play with the amp knobs!
