How Does It All End? - A Review of Matrix Revolutions by KentDB741

Last evening, Paula and I and our two best friends went to see the final Matrix film --- Matrix Revolutions. The theatre was SOLD OUT --- the film started at precisely 7:41pm. This film is two hours and ten minutes in length.

I will not ruin the ending for those who still want to see it for themselves, so I will concentrate on two rather superficial aspects of the film, both of which have been freely discussed in the entertainment press.

First of all, in the screening that we saw, many people came in full costume --- entering the theatre, we saw a guy dressed up as Neo, another guy dressed up as Agent Smith, and a really hot chick who looked EXACTLY like Trinity. Excellent way to set the mood --- these people had the haircuts, clothing, and the exact same sunglasses. Very impressive, indeed.

Secondly, due to the fact that Glloria Foster --- the woman that played the ORACLE --- died between RELOADED and REVOLUTIONS, there was about two minutes where the ORACLE explains to NEO why he does not recognize her. This was done with a minimal amount of bullshitting around, and it fit in seemlessly with the rest of the flick.

The only real comment that I am going to make about this film is that in most ways --- it is the second half of RELOADED --- and really does not stand on its' own as an independent story. It is mostly filled with the GRANDE BATTLE ROYALE which was much discussed at the end of RELOADED.

Viewers are introduced to a new character --- THE TRAIN MAN --- however, THAT is ALL I am at liberty to discuss --- as I do not want to blow the part this new character plays in the plot.

The Merovingian (fucker that he is) returns for some more nastiness --- and the whole thing comes to a climax . . .

. . . HOW DOES IT ALL END?

You'll just have to go and see for yourself.
