Tonight I attended my first Dean MeetUp meeting. I'm so glad that I finally went to one and regardless of political leanings, I suggest to everyone to get involved in these sort of things. Lately I have been so disenchanted with the political environment and it was refreshing to sit in a room full of people with more hope than I. One other thing, again, regardless of political leanings, go see a President speak. Back in '91 when my wife and I lived in North Carolina we were able to see and hear President Bush (41) on a campaign stop. Even though I would have preferred to see Clinton/Gore, it was still exciting to see an American President in person.
