Sorry Pat. You've lost me. What are you talking about? This kind of "humor" is akin to Little Black Sambo and has a long tradition of rearing its ugly head when white Americans feel threatened by people from different countries and colors. Look at the WWII depiction of Japanese, the anti-immigrant campaigns in the early twentieth century, or the reference of  Iraqis as "sand niggers" in the first Gulf War.

So how you figure this is "calling a spade a spade" is beyond me. What my response has to do with Gray Davis is also a mystery, and lastly, I'm not trying to solve a problem; I'm expressing my irritation with the kind of sensibilty that put up that post.
