God bless you, Pat, but I've got so many mixed feelings about performance... It seems like such a wierd, showoffy thing to do , and there are so many other things to do...
Like make a living a raising kids :):):)
The thing with the NFU was that Will was essentially handling all the tough things that go along with playing live. But I can't ask him to do that unless I'm willing to commit to it full time which I'm not and won't. So its kind of a catch 22.
I kinda figured Will had done some of the setup being's that most of the band were his compadres. I used to ask him if you guys rehearsed any new songs(always hoping for something from Bedtime) and he was always like "rehearse??" hell we have trouble getting him here. Great place though the Steamboat wasnt it?
There may be some simple simple shows with me and Dean Parks sometime.. Just got to play that as it lays, i'm afraid.
Just looked that guy up and he is a session musician of sorts?
How many L.A people are on this board? At least let them know David. Hell we may even get a report back
But think about it. probably one of the things that makes you such a loyal friend to me in spite of our, umm, occasional political differences is the fact that you sense that I'm not just an attention junkie, that i've got my own reasons for doing things and you like that in a fella. C'mon admit it!
I remember once you either said it to me or somewhere on this board that you were probably the most unlikely rock star that could be and that is positively the truth. You are gracious with the fans but I know that you are far from comfortable with it. But I came to this board and to all of those shows for the music David and you never failed to deliver and I knew you were not the attention monger the 1st time I met you. Far far from it
