It's a damn impressive, rousing rallying cry from Bruce: it pulls no punches and names names. Bless you, Bruce, and everyone else who recognizes the gravity of the situation and lends a hand in large and small ways. There's a role for all patriots! Minneapolis feels like an inflection point. We know some good folks in that city who are helping to feed people who fear venturing out, as well as serving as "observers" of ICE.

Tonight at the mall I spotted that god damn red baseball cap. I stopped the man, and asked what Trump said about American prisoners of war. He replied that I'm attacking his president and he didn't have the energy to engage with me. He began walking away and I repeated the question, and I again received the same lame replay. It ended once I said that my uncle died in a Japanese Prisoner of War camp...at 22!

Given New Hampshire's abundance of firearms (our motto is "Live Free or Die"), Mrs. Peter T. isn't happy with my new willingness to confront these mutants. Shit, given the courage on display in Minneapolis and other cities, my little protest seems all too small and all too safe.
