I have no idea what you are saying (Niagras tube X/Y trees) but this is from the archives:
I wholeheartedly endorse live show taping, though I personally prefer Nagras and tube X/Y trees over DATs and stereo condensers. Maybe I'll get one, do it myself, and save everybody the hassle.

It would be especially nice to be able to get a tape of the 1st show done by the newly formed 3 Penny Apocolypse Orchestra and god forbid if you had one from the Shady Grove show.
By the way did you ever record the stuff with Will, Bukka, Darwin and JJ which was I think:
