Quigley ran a sort of finishing school for
high-end power gluttons, white man's burden
and all that rot. What makes him a good read is
that he's not at all offended by the nefarious
dealings he describes--quite the contrary, he
thinks theyre grand ideas. So grand, in fact, that
they shoudn't be kept hidden from public eye. db
