I honestly don't know who got the brilliant idea to send JD Vance to the security conference in Munich today and who wrote his speech, but it is safe to say, that after this, NATO is dead and buried. Goodbye to 75 years of diplomatic peace and relative quiet across the Atlantic. It was nice while it lasted.
It was spine-chillingly scary to see the entire room of European ministers and diplomats watch in complete horror and silence while he spewed his venom, interrupted only two times by a lone clapper from his own staff. This cannot be repaired!
I also guess Pete Hugemouth in Brussels the day before was just a warm-up.
