I’ve been giving ideas here of things we can all do to fight back against this insanity. I’m just wondering, has anyone had a chance to do anything like call their senators and congressperson? Or seek out places in your community that might need volunteers like food pantries, LGBTQ+ orgs, immigrant support groups, etc?

After recommending working on mutual aid (volunteering in above orgs), now Indivisible and MoveOn are once again suggesting getting out in the streets. On Presidents’ Day, Monday 2/17 the 50501 (50 states 50 capitals 1 day) group is sponsoring nationwide protests. I think I’m going. Look to see if there’s a protest near you. Evidently, we have not been making enough noise. 


Anyway, please let me know if anyone’s been doing anything or has any other ideas. Reg, making those phone calls can really help feel like you have a little bit of control over this fucking shit show we’re living through.
