I did sell a copy or two of A Fine Mess on ebay. While I stand by my reasoning at the time, I realize now it was wrong. I talked to David personally about it while in Austin, and he appears to be quite over it (his response was something like �That was you?� and then he chuckled).
What did I do with all the profits? I believe the most that I got was $76 for one of them, and about $40 for the other. Since that time I have given away several copies, including one to the program director of a local radio station (which now plays tracks from HCTNFU twice a day), and one to a programmer that has done a lot of work on this site. I am working on a trade of one more copy to get two of the NFU shows and an interview in mini-dv format � that will then be given to Dan to make it available to all of us on this website.
Check out the copying network on this site � I am one of exactly TWO people in the US that have volunteered their time and resources to make copies for fellow fans. I have been cranking three or so requests/week for years now. I am doing so well with that that now I just have people wire transfer cash into my Swiss bank account.
