: If you still haven't heard from Peter he was on vacation in Maine for a week.
: Have you seen the video from The Attic?
: Dale
Actually, no I haven't seen a response from Peter yet but I'm glad to hear he's off having a good time up in Vacation land. I'll be heading up to Castine, Maine next Saturday for a while to see friends and get my head together. My friend Rick is the sous chef at the Castine Inn and just got his photo in the Boston Globe travel section last Sunday. So I'll be heading up to see what's cooking. He's had some pretty good stints at a variety of upscale restaurants, most recently No. Nine Park here in Boston, but says this is the best food he's been involved with yet.
I have not seen the video from the Attic but I'd like to. It was a great night. I hope we get a chance to see David play somewhere around here again soon but seeing that tape would be cool in the interim. You should send a copy to our resident hobbit Mick. He could see what he missed. You know we did drink a toast to Mick at my table before the show...
"To Mick, up your arse you bastard! You were too busy rearranging your shire to make it a bit more feng shui to come and have a drink with us ugly Americans."
Oh, speaking of videos, did anyone get a copy of the David Baerwald Video collection to David? He told me at the show he's never seen the "Triage" short film. Dan, if you read this, do you think you'll ever get a DVD of this material together?
Hope all is well Dale.
