First, I'm jealous as all hell that you live close enough to catch David live in Austin. I must get to that town soon And see him live!

Second, your review was great, I hope David plans to release a solo or acoustic set soon. Yes, he does have a great voice. I think "Stranger" is my favorite song by him, for that very reason.

Third, and on a slightly different note: I purchased the new CD this past Tuesday. After listening to it a couple of times, I've come to the realization that I think David(and Band) sound much better live. I don't hate the album, I just prefer his live versions, over the recorded ones on the new CD. I didn't give David and company the most favorable review, after seeing them earlier this month. I think I'm going to have to see him live-REAL SOON!!!
