I've been away from the site due to some recent poor
health. I attended the Seattle show with the NFU and had the privilidge to converse and thank David for
the relevence and lyrical similarities his music has
given me since "Boomtown". We continued to have one
of the most intimate, dynamic and intense conversations in about 20. mins than any I could recollect. I've been quadripligic for 5 years, next Monday, and the story of how my accident came to be,is quite nearly verbatim to "The Crash" I had an overwhelming feeling to verbally speak to David and thank him for what his entire body
of music has at some point in my 30 years, one or a dozen of his songs at any given time have provided a "soundtrack" for me and for that as profoundly as possible.
Not to ramble on much more, but when David responded with a reciproal thanks, and that meeting and sharing such conversations with fans it truly
humbled and pleased him I nearly leapt out my chair, knowing that I had truly, and without any hesitation had met one the honest brialliant, and gracious persons in my life. Thank you again David
