It's an interesting piece, though his comments about Jackson Browne made me smile. Since JB has recorded songs in the forms of reggae, ballads, trip hop, blues, country and Irish folk - I can imagine the burdens of doing the same thing over and over again.
Or if you're looking for real variation, try Bruce Cockburn's back catalogue. There's someone whose not done the same thing twice and after 25 albums, he still sounds as vital as ever. Let's all keep our fingers crossed that Bob Schneider doesn't start getting political...talk about a career death knell.
