Ditto, on the fact that the show was great. I was one of the 49 souls in attendence.

The band is amazingly tallented and David's voice is great live, but I have to be honest here. First and foremost I love Dave's music, but the performance seemed to be a bit tired. I'm speculating on this one, but it came across to me that yes, the band was tired but bored or disheartened(sp?) as well. I'm sure they are slowly winding down after a tour that consisted of many shows with 50 or so souls in attendence each nite. That would bring my spirits down, a wee bit. The show had been advertised(yes!-with his name misspelled) for months. But there was only one article, the week beforethe show, in the Arizona Republic's weekly entertainment guide. That was it!!! No other press coverage! Alot of people don't even know, he's making music still!

Is there anyway us fans, can help with PR to the local press, when a show comes to town? I was very pissed, that the local New Times didn't even list it in the Concert listings section, at all!!!

On a very positive note:I did get to chat for a minute or so with David, before he went on. He was very kind in letting me have my picture taken with him and signing all of my DB stuff. (Dave, Thanks again, I hope you enjoy the print!) I'm still very pleased to have seen David live. I believe it was his first show in Arizona, ever?  To have only payed 10 bucks to see him for an hour-long show was worth the price and the wait! I will make sure the next time I see him live, it will be in L.A.,where he is much more respected in the attendence and enthusiasm of the crowd .
Can't wait to buy a copy of the new CD. Plus, I would love to see him play solo as well. His solo version of "Come What May" was breathtaking!!! In fact I would love to have heard many more solo songs performed.

Cheers everyone, it was nice to have met some fellow DB fans, here in Arizona. If he tours again, how bout getting a car-pool together, to see a show in L.A. ?

-Kevin.

P.S. Oh yeah, and if Brett(or Brad, can't remember your name) reads this, email me, I would love to get a copy of NFU!
THANX!!!
