From what I remeber hearing was that the producer was the connection.David sat in with Fishbone at the record release party which took place at The Key Clubin Hollywood.I was fortunate that the band I was playing with got to open up for Fishbone and was floored when David came out and sat in with band.

: : yeah, it happened (though there's no mention on here?)

: : they worked together on the 'bone's 2000 release PSYCHOTIC FRIENDS NUTTWERX; he co-wrote the second song with them (THE SUFFERING), and they did a boingin' bouncin' (not to be confused with Bergen-Belsen) version of AIDS & ARMAGEDDON, with DB doing the guitar part on it. if you listen closely to THE SUFFERING, i think you can hear the part that DB wrote, somehow. it's a great tune; Angelo certainly knows of what he speaks, and of course our man seems to have a PhD in the subject matter..

: : i have no idea how they ever hooked up, but hopefully i'll remember to ask him at Slim's if i get a chance to say hi.

: The Connection was I believe Hurly Burly, Producer Steve Lindsey, who also produced Leonard Cohen's "The Future".
