From WNTI (northern New Jersey, non-commercial radio)
Spotlight Show of the Week: “Saturday night and your dance card is hardly full?” Does this sound familiar? If so, you are a fan of “Jumpin’ with JB” on every Saturday from 8:00pm to 11:00pm. JB has been at WNTI full time since 1987 and has established a blood radio bond between the brothers and sisters who produce and program their own shows on a weekly basis. In fact, JB feels many of the vox populi at the station are his greatest pals. Those who still listen after all these years know that he is a restless and wandering reprobate who loves God, a good tune, and a shaved leg, not necessarily in that order, if his priorities are skewed! Currently the 2002 listens of the year are Solomon Burke, Bruce Springsteen, David Baerwald, The Blind Boys of Alabama, The Roamin’ Gabriels, Railroad Earth, and The Holy Goats. Staples of the show consist of The Stones, James Brown, Muddy Watters, Reggae, some comedy, and topical outrages. As Hawkeye Pierce once said “I’ve loved you all, just some a little bit more than others”.
