: Quite some time ago someone recommended a cd by this man. Could someone re-recommend this cd again. It was Art of the Trio or something like that, but I've found there are five parts to this.
: Any help would be appreciated.
It was David Baerwald who recommended Mr. Mehldau and he said all of his "Art Of The Trio" discs were worth having. I totally agree. My favorite right now is "Progression: Art Of The Trio Vol. 5" which has a gorgeous live version of Nick Drake's "River Man" on it. I think with each record Mehldau just keeps getting better so it is kind of cool to start with Vol. 1 and work your way through. They are all great though.
