: I am curious how others first heard this brilliant man's work. In '88 I had a real drunkard for a boss, one day tossed me the Boomtown cd and said, "take this crap if you want it."
: I have been hooked and listening ever since. Due to family obligations I will be unable to drive down to Seattle for the show, oh well, next time.
: Other tales...
In '86 I had a subscription to Rolling Stone; they ran a story and review about D&D; seeing as how we share names I was curious; I picked up the tape and have been into DB ever since. Boomtown and Bedtime Stories are two of my all time favorite records. I rank DB and Springsteen as my top two singer/songwriters. And the fact that I get to see, for the first time, David June 28th (and maybe June 29th), and get a new CD from DB and Springsteen in July has me writhing in ecstasy!!!!
