I just bought a Dobro and I was kicking around ideas for using mics but wasn't sure whether the pan will cause interference.  It already has this big ol Barcus Berry pickup in it and I plan on covering the pan with thin dense foam while playing live to avoid banshee screeching feedback.  When you say Lavolier Mics, do you mean just like the one's we tack on our ties for speeches? ("we" is relative by the way)
