Nice to see the message board is back... Everything's going according to plan here. AS a band, we're becoming stage veterans, and our little musical community is growing.  Not only has Erik Hokkanen become an honorary member, but Steven Barber, as well is going to come learn the material and will be playing with us on Tuesday.  Erik Hokkanen is probably the single most skilled and innovative soloist I've ever worked with:  on violin, guitar, mandolin, and a myriad other instruments as well  Steven Barber is a pianist and orchestral arranger who I've wanted to work with for years.  The core of the band is stunning as well:  with JJ Johnson on drums,  Will Sexton obviously on bass,  and then Bukka Allen and Darwin Smith on keys, accordian and guitar, respectively, make for a very exciting musical environment for me.  I'm absolutely thrilled, and my only hope is that it continues going the way its going, cause this is some serious fun, even if it's a little fatguing.  But what a group of people!
