Not from Austin. I live in Fort Lauderdale. Just happened to be visiting. The Tuesday in question was April 2. The following is what I posted when I returned home.
I was lucky enough to see NFU's first show at Steamboat in Austin.
They are going to be performing there every Tuesday at 5 amd 8pm. The
new drummer is JJ Johnson. He had never
played with the band before and pulled it off beautifully. They were
FANTASTIC! The setlist (not in exact order, for they changed from one
set to the next)
In the Wild West
Why
The Crash
Compassion
Nothing's Gonna Bring Me Down
Boomtown
Silver or Lead (my new favorite, not near as Dylanesque in perwon)
The Waiter
Aids and Armageddon
Me and My Girl
Hellbound Train
Heroes
Swallowed by the Cracks
A Bitter Tree
If I Ever Thought
If you are in Austin in the next few months, go to Steamboats. It is
a great place and they are incredible already. Peace (is it
possible?) Andrea
