But, really, what would you think of me if I went around insisting that �people call me Hawk, or calling a record "Sweet Baby Dave"? �Wouldnt it make you want to puke?

One would think that a guy like Sting would eventually wake up one morning and say to himself, "I think I want everyone to call me Gordon again.  I'm too old to be called Sting."  

Frank Zappa called him Mr. Sting which I always thought totally removed the "snottyness" from his persona.  

When my "rockstar" gig finally comes through (trying not to laugh) I think I'll change my name to John Brown.  At least my solo album will be close to the front of the cut out bin.
