Also, I would highly recommend (in a sort-of kind-of similar vein) Clem Snide, a great band with lots of critical acclaim but very few listeners. Their newest album is quite good, but their previous effort, "your favorite music," was a work of pure genius.

And hooray for the prospect of new material from David! Yippee!
