"Since `Triage` you've been pretty active in `truth seeking` in respect of the American government. A number of months back you dismissed the suggestion of revolution, becasue like the political hounds, revolutionaries are flawed and power will still corrupt and absolute power will corrupt absolutely. "

Yes, I do dismiss the notion of a violent revolution, at least with any emphasis on violent. I don't thnk it would find any real support anywhere. The kind of revolution I support is already happening, I think. More of a spiritual/cultural kind of thing. Give it time...

"With that said, what are you striving for once you've discovered said `truth` (either for yourself or for the country as a whole)?"

My own ever-continuing personal spiritual/cultural revolution. The nation hasn't yet come to me, beseeching me as one, to cure its many ills.
.

"You've probably heard the saying "well, if you live a quiet life, the government won't bother you" but even if you had all the documentation to prove the latest conspiracy where can you go with it?"

I don't have any documentation that isnt available from
a well-stocked library, but if I had any, I'd bring it to you, of course. Where else?

"Like all the past empires (China, Rome, Spain, Russia, England) there's always a time of reckoning in respect of their empire `status` and eventually they all died on their arses. Why not just sit back and wind your watch if the country is that far off on a tangent and you find nihilism funny? "

Well, I don't find nihilism particularly funny, but I suppose I am kind of just sitting back and winding my metaphorical watch, and generally just trying to enjoy life and be productive to the best of my ability. What would you recommend? Honestly, you sound upset that I'm not on a rooftop somewhere with a rifle, exhorting my nonexistent troops to some ill-conceived and tragic and doomed action. Did you ever see Werner Herzog's "Aguirre, The Wrath of God"? Awesome, awe-inspiring movie. At the end of the film , Aguirre (Klaus Kinski) is on a raft, his soldiers (and his heartbreakingly beautiful daughter) lie dead, surrounding him. "Get up!", he shouts, "We'll conquer Spain!" Is this how you envision my last days?

Affectionately yrs,

David
