If we are in fact going to collectively acquire the video, there are a few things that need to happen. First of all, STOP BIDDING ON THE THING!!!! I have seen the enemy, and it is us.
The auction ends just before 8pm PST on the 12th, so we need to figure out who is going to do the final bidding. (I will be in class so I cannot do it) A word of caution: the bidding can explode at the end, so if you get cute and try to beat someone's bid by just a dollar or two you can get left out in the cold. To be safe the final bid should probably be $50 higher than the previous high.
Dan - you need to post an address that we can send our contributions to. The next issue will be how to make multiple copies of the movie. While I know you have designs on digitizing it, I would prefer to have it on VHS - and would gladly pay $25 for a good copy.
We have known about this video for over a year now, and this is the first time one has popped up. Let's not muff it!
