Icon Venice Underground, The Pledge, VAST

If you own a surrround system and have money to burn, this might be a good disc for you to pick up-
It is a record entirely recorded in 5.1 surround, which is actually a lot of fun to do, if not to listen to. If you don't have a surround
system... It's a collection of sort of half-assed hard techno with a few songish songs mixed in.

The Pledge- God only knows what that version is. I think it might have been on a CD of demos that I gave Sean as a Christmas present a few years back. I don't even remember where or with whom I recorded it, which might cause some legal problems down the line.

VAST is a one-man band, namely a ludicrously talented young feller named Jon Crosby, who is trapped
in the three-ring Dantean circus of Elektra Records/MTV/Alternative Radio. He's extremely passionate, in an environment that despises and is threatened by passion, and worships instead the banal god of "post-modern irony". He doesn't have a post modern ironic bone in his body, God Bless Him, being instead concerned with ethics and religious questions. He is going to have a hard row of it, I'm afraid. I wish him strength. This disc in question is geared towards youth, so if you're young, or young at heart, with
religious and ethical questions, or wonder if today's young at heart might still have those antiquated feelings, then I wholeheartedly endorse it.
