Hi David
Thank you for your gift of music. My all time favorite song is good times, for me it is the perfect veichle to describe life's journey. I have a few questions i hope you can put some light on.
1) Was the song around when you were considering songs for Boomtown, and if so why did it not make the cut? I know you said you never really liked the earlier music for it.
2) the Radio edit has some alterations to the guitar and drum tracks along with the removal of the last verse, do you feel these changes made it more radio friendly? were these changes you wanted to make?
3) you also excluded the final verse(the ghost of christmas past...) from some of the live shows, Does that change the song's projection for you? or the audience's reception of it?
4) I've heard your explanation on bedtime intros and read the press release. I was wondering if you could expand on the development of it? Has the message or the song's meaning changed for you in the last ten years?
Thank you again and i hope that someday soon more of the world will be enlightened by your gift.
