Through the years there have been one and two lines blurbs in Rolling Stone and Spin about a follow up to boomtown. Judging from reading your posts to this site over the past year, I don't think that will be happening. So, any chance of releasing it through this site??
Why did David and David never pull back together. Your still making music, David Ricketts shows up on some stuff, Toni Childs solo career is stuck in the Mud. Why not give it a shot? It might not be realistic, but it's an enjoyable fantasy.
The new cd's have some great stuff on them. I've pulled 15 tracks from the two disc that I can't stop listening to. for music, it helps carry me through my daily grind. (I have a shitty daily commute!)
You should send a copy of Paddy Chayefsky to Steve Martin. An old skit of his, claim that you couldn't sing about sad things while playing a bango! The song proves him wrong in brilliant fashion.
I saw you in Boston, ten years ago. If you ever get out this way to play again, I'll be there.
