I am a fifth grade teacher in York, PA. I am currently involved in a project titled, "Music Integrated with the Fifth Grade Curriculum". The purpose of this project is to show evidence that music has a great influence on the learning of elementary students. For this project I need to interview people who make their living in the music business. I have about 5 questions that I need to ask about musical influences, opinions about music in the schools, etc..

I have always included music in my lessons.. in fact, music plays a great part of my day with students. They seem to be motivated by the musis that I relate to their learning. Hopefully my project will prove that what I am doing is worhwhile. I have already been lucky enough to get an email interview with Phil Lesh, David Nelson, and a personal interview with Mark Karan of Ratdog.
