First off...I hope in spite of your perpetual state of mild panic (that really had me laughing by the way) you enjoyed yourself while on vacation. My girlfriend says the same thing all the time that's why I found that comment so funny! Her hobby at present is collecting antiques. My cd collection is now housed in a 17th century chest the doors of which are decorated with religious iconography. I also got an antique barometer for my birthday. So, she gets a hobby and I end up with some pretty cool stuff...I can live with that. Only problem is this particular hobby can be a rather expensive one and can not be indulged very often. So, she's still living with the perpetual state of mild panic. Personally my hobbies, writing and occasionally recording music, golf, and writing, just in general, all sorts of stuff have never helped cure my perpetual state of mild panic. They just distract me from it for a while, which actually I guess is the point. I think I need to stop reading the newspaper. This activity seems to turn the panic and anxiety controls all the way up to ten. Has anyone noticed the fact that there's some guys out there running for president right now that I would'nt even want managing the local burger joint! I know some ex-cons I'd rather vote for than any of this pathetic lot. I also took a vacation while you were on vacation and took my girl up to Quebec City...where she of course had a chance to indulge her hobby. Sorry...really I'm just rambling here...but here's a specific question...Did you have a chance to listen to any music that was not work related while on vacation and if so any comments? I've got some more questions but I'll save those for later. Glad you're back.
