I do know that CDRs differ from company to company. I also know that some machines prefer one type of CDR over the other. For instance, my old car cd player (a JVC) would ONLY play TDK and Verbatum CDRs. It has to do with the power of the laser in the player. The problem usually shows up on older players. So..I guess the point of this response is to let you know that more than likely there is nothing wrong with the actual CD...but rather the compatibility of that CDR and your player.
