Thank you for your concern. Amazingly, I've managed to live a life of relative luxury, hampered only by my obsessive-compulsive gear-buying disorder. Please shed no tears for my financial condition. I have much more than I deserve. As to your other question, I think both fame and an excess of money can be dangerous for the writing type. When one becomes the show it's quite difficult to observe others, save for their reaction to you. One requires greater and greater displays of drama to be interested, when as we should know, it's the small that's truly important- the fat girl checks her hair, the strained smile of an unhappy couple... or or or. I like to watch, more than I enjoy my plumage, which is ragged and stained at best.
Vacation:
Thank you all for all your questions, and I will answer them all... I know I'm getting a little behind. But I need a little vacation. I'm coming off about five months of 16 hour days, and my nerves and darker impulses are beginning to plague me. For the moment, I'm going to take six weeks off, do a little driving around, get some sun, visit some friends, play with my boy, try to put on a few pounds, and generally take care of myself. I hope you continue your conversations among yourselves while I'm gone. You're a fascinating group, and I'm pleased as punch that I can be an excuse for you all to meet one another.
