Well, let's see. I'm a 22-year-old male originally from the New Jersey shore, but currently living in Madison, Wisconsin. I'm now getting a MM (Master of Music) degree in composition at the University of Wisconsin. I'm particularly obsessed with vocal music and opera/musical theatre, having written one opera and now working on a second. I'm also just plain obsessed with music in general...I play piano, clarinet, various flutes, and sing, and I listen nonstop to just about everything from David Baerwald to Dmitri Shostakovich to Charles Mingus to Altan to Amon Tobin to Radiohead to Christine Lavin to Cassandra Wilson to The Del McCoury Band to Steve Tibbetts and lots of stuff in between. I have a passion for interesting food, my diet consisting mainly of ethnic dishes, really spicy stuff, and bizarre food items. I also have a passion for cartoons, feeling that they are the only worthwhile thing about TV (besides the BBC World News), partially because they're all about fostering imagination and doing what can't be done in life, and partially because they're so darn funny. I love thunderstorms. I change hair color once every few months. I love tea. I have a Bachelor's in biology, but chose music instead. I like soft fuzzy clothing.
