In response,and this may surprise those of you outside the "Good ole U.S of A.",the majority of Americans are not "gun toting","scared"and "paranoid"(Ok maybe a little paranoid)
The streets are not lined with corpses,there aren't tanks in
the street(anymore),and most of us are decent folk trying to get through the day.
Yes,there are tragic,heartbreaking places and things that happen here daily,as in your country as well.But I think we
would both prefer it to maybe Bosnia,or certain parts of Africa.
