I slipped on something and fractured the index and ring finger knuckles when I broke my fall. That, combined with laryngitis made for a very memorable show for me. That is to say, I remember the pain, if not the music, or even the venue. I did develop a style of playing rhythm guitar with an index finger splint, though.
