I can't tell you how touched I was by your post.
Like you, I was far too young thank god to personally visit
the hells of colonial Vietnam. And like you I had some older friends who sadly werent. And, like you, I lost most of them. I'll say no more, except for thank you, for reminding me of a long forgotten song, and the feelings and friends that inspired it.
