My parents and paternal Grandparents (it hurts not to be able to include my sister and an uncle).

But these four people are the foundations of the person I am today - my mother instilled me with great compassion and care; my father, nature and the arts; my grandmother, my morals, character, and goodness; my grandfather for his work ethic and example of how you don't have to have brilliant degrees behind your name to be highly intelligent.

None of history's "greats" could instill more into me of things that truly matter than the four people above. And frankly, without the sum of the parts of all those within my life, I would not be the person I am and all those important people of the past had nothing to do with how things have turned out.
