Here are some numbers to consider:
150 billionaire families in this country poured $2 billion into this past election cycle.
70% of that $2 billion went to Republicans.
Basically three people financially kept Trump's campaign from dying, it would have run out of money without them, Timothy Mellon, Elon Musk, and Miriam Adelson. Between these three and three other families, they dumped almost $820 million into efforts to elect Trump.
Mellon, Musk, and Adelson alone pretty much matched the amount of money the Biden and Harris campaigns raised from millions of small dollar donors. Meaning, when regular people spoke with their donations, they gave to the Democrats, which would have given them a big advantage through the voice of the people...but three billionaires wiped that advantage out by matching that amount, essentially cancelling the voices of millions of people. Yes, where millions spoke for Democrats and democratic ideals, three billionaires were permitted to keep a dying Trump campaign afloat so that it could attempt to compete.
See when you look at this, when you look at facts, what becomes very apparent is MAGA is not a movement of the people, that is supported by the people. It is a movement that only survived because 3 billionaires kept it going.
Yes, there are MAGA fans, that wear the shirts and hats, but essentially these people, are a minority, and I think a small one. MAGA is really a small group of billionaires buying themselves a candidate that is very much for sale and those billionaires don't care at all about the average Joes that show up at a Trump rally.
This is where Trump's attitude of "I don't need voters!" comes from. Because he knows, basically a half dozen families of billionaires are the only reason he continues to exist. It is essentially 6 people that get him elected, or at most 150 people...none of whom, except for that idiot Musk, is showing up at Trump rallies.
That's his US backing. Then he has the money being funneled to him through foreign entities that want a US dictatorship that favors authoritarian governments. They should not have a voice in our elections, but they do.
